Ibrahim Hughes - As CEO (Chief 'Empowerment' Officer) and Chief Acquisitions Manager of Step Buys Houses, LLC - Mr. Hughes serves on the board of the STEP organization as Treasurer and has been volunteering with the youth group for the past 15 years.
Mr. Hughes has 20 years of experience in buying, renovating and managing both residential and commercial real estate properties. He has purchased, renovated, built and sold houses in Maplewood, Montclair, So. Orange, West Orange, Newark, Mountainside, Westfield, Kenilworth and Belleville.
In addition to his volunteerism with the STEP Organization, he is licensed as a Realtor in the State of New Jersey, certified as a Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource Specialist by the National Association of Realtors and currently serves as Chief Acquisitions Manager for Common Unity Real Estate, LLC - a real estate investment company based in Newark, NJ.
Nantambu Nicholas is a former Mentee with the STEP Youth Program, a former Intern with Step Buys Houses, LLC and currently an Acquisitions Manager with the company. His work includes researching distressed real estate leads, establishing contact with distressed property owners and creatively working to reach an endpoint that satisfies all parties involved.
Having been awarded a full 4 year college scholarship, he is currently a Junior working full time on a degree in Physics at Clark Atlanta University. He also volunteers and Mentors youth with the STEP Youth Program, a mentoring program that helped groom him for the responsible adulthood and leadership he now displays.
Robert Tucker - As COO (Chief 'Opportunity' Officer) and Director of Sales, Rob Tucker has been buying, fixing and brokering real estate in New Jersey since 1989.
He is a loving husband, Father of 4 and a 'STEP' Parent and volunteer of the STEP program almost since its inception 18 years ago. Mr. Tucker is also a Youth Mentor and Coach for the Amateur Athletic Union which is a part of the Rahway Youth Basketball program.
As President and Owner of Federated Homes Realty and a licensed Realtor, Mr. Tucker lends his expertise and experience in the real estate industry for the purpose of establishing a base of operations for the STEP program and STEP Buys Houses.
